JONATHAN J. JONES: I know the emphasis that you have been sharing with me just let’s me know the impact of a legacy. Legacy is important. Sometimes when parents of children or grandparents of children pass away, families are hurting and potentially, they might be in an awkward position because nothing was left behind. But Dr. Jones (my Dad) always put an emphasis of me working on a legacy, therefore once it comes to a point when I (we) pass away, there will be something to pass on, something ongoing and long-standing, so the purpose of a legacy was really one of those things.
I know that you have always shared with me that your writings would be a good legacy and then when you planted that seed in my head, I started to think I am younger yet, but at the same time, everything I do — especially if it is writing a book — then that would be going towards my legacy in the future.
Thinking about that and also thinking about all the books that I see all the time from anybody and everybody, “I go – everybody can write a book so why can’t I write a book?” Then you continued to just water that seed and then you got me fired up about the idea of me potentially being an author and then letting me know, son when you are an author, then you separate yourself from everyone else.

Everyone cannot say they have written a book, but a lot of people want to do it. Some people still stuck on the idea but then sometime they allow others to affect their thoughts and then they get away from it, but we all have a story like Ms. Hall was saying — that you just kept pitching to us — which is so true —everybody has a story we all have been through. So many trials or we have so many things to celebrate, so why wouldn’t you want to take that and put it on paper and share that with somebody else?
If somebody is going through a tough time and they are just isolated, just sharing past experiences that you have gone through in that given time can help bring somebody out of something. When your are isolated, that’s when you are attacked even more, so therefore you might be holding a message in that given time, you can help bring somebody out of something. God might have given you something to share with somebody else to pull them out of their time so that was the really big reason that I felt that I should be down there this weekend to share in the session in those two days.
I got numerous pages of notes that I have written, but one true take away that you gave me — which really made perfect sense was — you want to write a book. You do want to see the top selling books in your field as well as books that are related to your topic because therefore you can see what the top selling authors are talking about, how they might have worded some things. From you saying that, that makes sense because you see a successful way of doing things and of course, if that system works — which it does because it’s on the national top seller list – then, you implement that system as well. Who is to say that you can’t be as successful, or more successful than those same authors?
I looked at a few books that are related to my topic and I purchased a few books so that I can further expand my mind see what the successful authors are talking about and to see how I can get better than theirs. I feel that is a great tool to have at your disposal.
If you don’t know how to exactly get started, I would say to go to drfredjones.com first if you want to check things out. You want to make sure everything is copasetic — just look through the website. Check out the testimonials, see the books he has written and then from there just go ahead and give Dr. Fred Jones a call because if you feel like you are not adequate enough to write a book, or you are not worthy to write a book like Ms. Hall said earlier, Dr. Fred Jones is truly what he preaches. He is a speaker, author and a coach.
First of all, he coaches you through various strategies, he practices what he preaches. He also makes you believe and know that you are a speaker, author and a coach, and then he just constantly pours it into you. He pours in information. He pours in motivation. He just constantly builds you up. It is so motivational you just feel the true positive energy that he has when he is teaching the class. He gets excited and he jumps up and down, but you can tell it is so real and genuine and if you have any questions he will give you the honest to God truth. He doesn’t hide anything from you. He will let you know straightforward what it is and that’s just what he thinks. By Jonathan J. Jones, Founder of No Complain Campaign
